Election Notice

ATTENTION CWA LOCAL 1075 MEMBERS
Effective September 16, 2025 at 9:00 am, nominations for Local 1075 Executive Board offices
of President, Executive Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Vice President of
Monmouth County, Vice President of Ocean County and Vice President of Atlantic County,
Municipal & Local Authorities shall be conducted via petition for nomination.
Any member in good standing may nominate another member provided that member is in good
standing and agrees to be nominated. Nominations for Executive Board positions shall also
constitute the nomination of these members as delegates to the CWA Convention held during
that term of office.

NOMINATION SCHEDULE

Potential candidates may pick up Nomination Petition Forms and instructions at the Union
Office located at 142 State Route 35, Red Bank, NJ 07701 or request forms via email at
[email protected]. If you plan on picking up a petition at the union office, please call in
advance so the office may prepare copies.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT NOMINATION PACKAGE

Potential candidates, or a member in good standing that has signed the Nomination Petition, must
deliver original completed petitions with signatures to the Union Office by October 7, 2025.
Completed original petitions must be received at the Union Office no later than 2:00 PM on
October 7, 2025. Petitions returned by Certified Mail must be received before the deadline.

CERTIFICATION OF CANDIDATES

The Election Committee will verify petitions, determine which candidates meet requirements,
and notify candidates whether they are eligible to run for office following the close of the
nomination period on October 7, 2025.
For each office the required number of signatures of members in good standing is noted below:
President, Executive Vice-President, Treasurer and Recording Secretary require 150 signatures
of Local 1075 members in good standing.
The Vice-President positions for Monmouth County, Ocean County and Atlantic County require
50 signatures of members in good standing of members in each specific county. For example,
only signatures of members working for any bargaining unit within Monmouth County will be
counted for the office of Vice President of Monmouth County.
